Tips For Making Your Swimsuits Last Longer

Tips For Making Your
Swimsuits Last Longer

( By: Abdul Martin )
Summer is nearly here and we will be spending more time wearing swimsuits and some of the newer performance fabrics.
The following guidelines will help you keep your swimsuits in a great shape but accept the fact that swimsuits have a short lifespan. More so if you swim in chlorinated water and spend long hours in hot tubs. However the following tips will help you maintain your swimsuits nice and fit for a longer time.

1. To slow down the fading of color soak your swimsuit in a mixture of vinegar and water for about half an hour. Use one spoon vinegar and one quart of water.

2. If the swimsuit is already saturated with clean water then it absorbs less chlorinated water, so shower with fresh water before you move into the pool.

3. After you finish the swimming pool fun do wash your swimsuit with cool water and rinse a little.

4. Use of a suit cleaner will extend the life of your swimsuit.

5. Wash your swimsuits and rinse in cool water. Roll up in a clean, lint free, and light-colored or fade resistant towel and squeeze again.

6. Air-dry and not sun dry.

7. Do not machine-wash your swimsuit.

8. Do not bleach, iron or wash with white clothes.

9. Do not leave rolled up in wet towels or in gym bag. Moisture left in your suit for extended periods of time will lead to unwanted odor and suit failure.

10. Wear only your oldest suit in a hot tub or Jacuzzi

11. Clean regularly as needed, treat stains quickly and use a fabric softener only if recommended.

There is now available sun protective clothing, which provides the maximum available protection from the sun's ultra-violet rays.
A few companies offers a wide selection of the highest quality, hard-to-find sun protection items for infants through 12 year olds.

How to remove stains.
If it’s a blood stain then soak it in cold water for 30 minutes.
If it’s a chewing gum then apply ice cubes or cold water
For fresh diary products use cool water. Older ones require removal of crusts.

When is the Best Time to Shop For Swimsuit?

When is the Best Time to Shop For Swimsuit?

(By Brian A Schmidt)

Anyone can tell you that traditional stores have swimsuit sales at the end of the summer season. Some even have early season sales to spark interest in seasonal swimsuit shopping. But in both cases, stock could be limited. Early season sales usually highlight swim wear fashions left from last year. Late season sales offer only what hasn't sold.

So... when is the best time to shop for swim wear, cruise wear, resort wear and other summer fashions?

For internet savvy shoppers, the answer is crystal clear. Anytime. 24/7. Seven days a week. 52 weeks a year.

On-line swimsuit merchants have stock all year long. They don't require costly and limited display space - other than the virtual real-estate on their website.
On-line swimsuit merchant's prices are VERY competitive because they don't have that expensive store space to charge you for. In most cases, they don't have a huge advertising budget either - another item that they don't charge you, the consumer for.
On-line swimsuit merchants offer sales all year long to generate interest in visiting and re-visiting their sites. And in many cases, these merchants offer sale pricing on even the newest fashions that they carry.

Many consumers consider themselves shop-til-you-drop type shoppers. However, even these shoppers are subject to needing to be in the right mood to buy. That mood could come at a time when the 'brick and mortar' merchants are closed. On-line shoppers can take advantage of the mood whenever it presents itself.

Weather and distance are not an issue for on-line swimsuit shoppers. No matter how far you might be from the nearest shopping mall or city commercial area. No matter how nasty the weather (Right now, the highways are closed where we live because of severe winter weather). You can go on-line and check out the latest swimsuit fashions. You can even shop from the middle of the desert if you have an internet connection.
So... when is the best time to shop for swimsuit, cruise wear, resort wear and other summer fashions?

RIGHT NOW! Don't miss out on the sales going on right now.

Finding The Best Swimsuit For You

Where are you going to .. for this summer ?

If you want to go to the sea ... Swimsuits are the best friends in summer.

Nothing like diving in a swimming pool in a hot summer afternoon. If you love being in the outdoors in the sun in your swimming pool then buying the most comfortable swimming suits is a must.

Finding The Best Swimsuit For You

You might have seen those swimsuits advertised by the great fashion magazines. Almost all swimsuits look great on those supermodels but what about the common folks who cannot wear swimsuits of size 4?

We buy those swimsuits that look great on supermodels as those look great when they wear them but you make a smart decision if you do a little search on what best suits you.
First of all do not compare yourself with those swimsuit models. They give all their lives to look the way they do and to have a few photo sessions.

Finding the right swimsuit for you can be depressing especially if the sizes you wear are a little higher. This is especially for plus size swimsuits, but now a days the major companies are coming up with more and more of these plus size swimsuits and some companies specializes only in plus size swimsuits. Choosing a swimsuit with a high percentage of Lycra or spandex and a high-cut leg will actually shave 10 pounds off of your appearance.

Women with a pear shape have a great problem while selecting a swimsuit. A built in tummy tuck provided by some plus size swimsuits provides you an extra support. Search specifically if that’s what you are looking for. High-cut legs tend to slim the hips and thighs. The women with a pear shape can go with flashy top with plenty of eye-grabbing detail combined with more subdued bottoms.

Women with short and long torso have a difficult time shopping as well. Torso length is a very important factor in buying swimsuits. If you want to lengthen or shorten the appearance of torso in a swimsuit then get the perfect cut on the legs. Women with long torsos should try a tankini with bottoms that sit a little higher on the hips. The tankini top will break up a long torso while the higher bottoms will lengthen the legs.

Women with large bust have few choices but most swimsuit manufacturers now offer bra-style support in their swimsuits, an absolute must for minimizing and flattering large breasts. Find a bikini or swimsuit in a pretty, young, pastel color.

Women with small bust then the bra style support looks great. If you have a boy shaped body then we suggest one-piece swimsuit with a low, plunging neckline. Boy shorts are incredibly popular but look attractive on only a small percentage of women; women with boy shapes make up the majority of this small percentage.

Online shopping has become easier than ever before. You may be sitting in your computer chair but you will be on a highway, a highway to the swimsuits shopping heaven. Although it’s sometimes depressing to search online for hours together without results you always have the option to grab your best friend and go shopping offline.
